Select a format for your schedule from the choices below, then enter your first itinerary into the space underneath the formats. The Gig Gopher will match your schedule with the format and highlight what matched. If some lines don't match, back up and correct them. Once you are satisfied with the pattern, enter the extra information needed to complete your entry. All formats refer to the following fictitious gig:

Note:

  1. Required text is black. Optional text is green and in italics. Required punctuation is red and bold. Punctuation surrounding optional text is blue and underlined. White space is always required where shown, but may be any number of spaces or tabs.
  2. All patterns require a two-digit year.
  3. If you are submitting a schedule for a performer, do not include the performer's name with the other performers.
  4. Multiple performer names must be separated by slashes ("/").
  5. All patterns accept multiple days in the date field, such as "3/4-5/97" or "3/4,5,8/97".
  6. Although the formats map wrap to fit your browser, all gigs must be entered one item per line.
